How to Capture Computer Audio

1. Start Reaper
2. Options -> Preferences ->WASAPI
3. Shared loopback (CAUTION)
4. Insert new track
5. Select record
6. Set record monitoring off my clicking on the little speaker icon until it is just an outline
7. Start recording with the record button on the bottom of the screen
8. Test playing the audio to make sure it works and levels are correct
9. Record audio -> Save all
10. Trim file at beginning and end: Position cursor, right click the track, split on cursor select segment, press delete key
11. Move audio to align with begining of track
12. Right click audio->media properties->normalize->(-3 dB) but not if it gets quieter.
13. Disable record
14. Render to MP3 using LAME, choose location, render 1 file
15. Store to phone or other player
