- Start Reaper
- Options -> Preferences ->WASAPI
- Shared loopback (CAUTION)
- Insert new track
- Select record
- Set record monitoring off my clicking on the little speaker icon until it is just an outline
- Start recording with the record button on the bottom of the screen
- Test playing the audio to make sure it works and levels are correct
- Record audio -> Save all
- Trim file at beginning and end: Position cursor, right click the track, split on cursor select segment, press delete key
- Move audio to align with begining of track
- Right click audio->media properties->normalize->(-3 dB) but not if it gets quieter.
- Disable record
- Render to MP3 using LAME, choose location, render 1 file
- Store to phone or other player
